Artista itinerante e girovago, sempre in cerca di nuovi stimoli e luoghi diversi da ritrarre, famosissime le sue vedute di Roma, Firenze, Napoli, Venezia e poi ancora Gerusalemme, Kostatinopel fino all'Asia Minore testimoni della sua continua ricerca.
