Original Wrappers. Zustand: Near Fine binding. 16mo. [16] pp., illus. Limited edition, one of 145 copies. Printer's graphically fantastic inscription on the front free endpaper. As issued, sewn into marbled paper wrappers; two remarkably intricate illustrations by Laird that have limited hand-tinting by Walter Hamady with colored pencil. Quite a lovely issue from the Perishable Press. Two Decades of Hamady & the Perishable Press, 76.

Zustand: Very fine copy. 4to, cloth & paper wrappers with original print on verso, real fishing fly on front cover. Very fine copy. First edition. One of only 50 copies printed on Shadwell and signed by the artist. "The cover is six vertical scraps of variegated Shadwell randomly zig-zagged together with the text block sewed to one end of the blank side. The cover is then folded under and around the text block with a real fishing fly affixed to the cover. . . . Needless to say this is/was a bibliographer's nightmare about which many letters were received." Hamady 63. Printers' Choice, 68. In our experience, the rarest publication of the Perishable Press.
