Originally written and presented by Ms. Perotti in 1956, later revised and updated for publication by her husband. Eight short chapters highlighting, for example, "The First Book Printed in Missouri," "The First Emigrant Guide Books Printed in Missouri," and "The First Medical Book. Printed in Missouri,".
