First edition of this unusually scarce promotional catalogue for this early agricultural correspondence school, with focus on veterinary science and animal husbandry based in Sioux City, IA. The Veterinary courses encompassed animal castration, animal obstetrics, animal spaying, and course in sanitary and preventative medicine. In addition, there were courses in feeding and care of lives stock, and judging. With the addition of Prof. Holden in 1903 -- the first professor of agronomy in the United States at nearby Iowa State -- an Agronomy correspondence course was added on crops, soils, farm mechanics, and farm management.
