An attractive picture book that shows the influence that the dynamism of early 20th century animated cartoons had on book illustration. The author-artist Peter Thornhill was also a naval officer. The author-artist Peter Thornhill was also a naval officer, this is his first of several children's picture books written throughout the 1940s.
