Patterned paper boards over a black cloth spine with a pasted-on paper title block. Faded purple paper-over-boards slipcase is somewhat aged, soiled and sun-struck. Signed "Compliments of A. J. Philpott, August 2, 1934" on the front free endpaper. Text is on laid paper with deckled edges.
