The book and jacket are in very good condition, the jacket has a fair amount of shelf rubbing present, the fore-edge and the bottom of the jacket and the jacket spine in particular have some areas missing including a small bottom portion of the jacket spine and some areas of discoloring or folding, the jacket was wrapped at some point in brodart but the inner flaps were not fully wrapped. There are also several stains on the jacket. Apart from a former owners writing on the first paste-down and some pencil on the bottom fore-edge corner on every page notating page number after the title page beginning on the dedications page, and some writing on the page opposite the title page the text and images inside appear clean and clear throughout. The text is bilingual English and Spanish, with at the end of the books a Spanish version of the introduction written in English. Captions appear in English and Spanish as well.
