The stations covered are arranged alphabetically,beginning with the Albury run and ending withThe Wolds. As the dust jacket states; "they provide a mine of complete and accurate information fror each run" and that the book is "a splendid survey of the pastoral and economic history of the area." First edition of 1971. 330 pages including bibliography, notes and index, about 40 b/w illustrations, mainly photos with some art, 10 maps plus e/paper maps. Green hard covers with gilt spine titles NF with hint wear spine base, text block NF, no inscriptions. Wrap-round colour art DJ displays Beatrix Dobie's "The Boundry Dog" painting completed about 1920, short tear top front edge, few chips at spine top, otherwise VG+.
