Hardcover. Zustand: Very Good. No Jacket. xix, 2879-3205 : plates, figures. This is a fresh and pleasing copy of volume XIV of Pope's monumental survey. It is bound in publisher's quarter simulated leather over cloth-covered boards. The binding is sturdy and clean, the corners are sharp, with a 5/8-inch scuff at the foot of its front panel and minor chipping at the head of its spine. Internally it is as new, the text unmarked and attractive, the plates bright. Laid in is an offprint from volume XV inscribed "to Kei / J" (perhaps Jay Gluck, the editor of that volume). 2060 grams.
