The design of position contro…l is based on cascade principle with optimal speed control adjusted by means of modulus optimization method. Synthesis of the system is based on Z-transformation and bi-linear conform copying from Z-plane to W-plane of complex pseudo frequency. Velocity is measured with incremental encoder using M/T method. Software realization of digital speed and position controller is obtained, using direct realization of the recursive algorithm. The results of synthesis, using module and symmetrical optimization method are compared with the results obtained by simulation of the control system. The speed and position control are realized digitally by means of a microcomputer EPAC 68008, a real time operating system, RTOS, and the PEARL language.By directly implementing the recursive algorithm, a simple practical implementation of an adaptive PI-speed controller and PD-position controller is presented. 88 pp. Englisch.

The basic idea…of the Field Oriented Control (FOC) algorithm is decoupling the stator current into flux and torque producing components. Both components can be controlled separately after decoupling. The structure of the motor controller is then as simple as that for a separately excited DC motor. Direct vector FOC control system is based on measurement, acquisition and (or) estimation of the space angle of the rotor's flux. Unlike the control system which is oriented to the space vector of the rotor's flux, on the dynamic model in a d-q coordinate system of IM and PWM of the voltage inverter, thereby using linear control technique and linear controllers, the direct torque control systems (DTC) are based on the space angle of the stator flux, on the dynamic model of the induction motor in a stationary frame of reference and on the space-vector modulation of the inverter. DTC method is based on non-linear control techniques and non-linear controllers. 152 pp. Englisch.

Involvement of additional constraint functions in the optimization procedure, contributes to achieve the best solution faster then usual. When generating the 3D transformer models it is defined exact magnetizing characteristic of the core material, instead of using software library of magnetic materials.The magnetizing characteristic is approximated by a polynomial of the third order, matching perfectly to the real one. In addition, when running transient 3D FEM analysis it is defined and introduced the Building Factor, which contributes to more accurate computation of iron losses; the fact that is proved by the corresponding measurements of the studied objects.
