En determinados casos, estas situaciones adquieren un rostro muy definido: la pobreza en la que vive una gran parte de este sector de la población, es decir, contextos complejos y difíciles para la construcción de un proyecto u horizonte de vida viable y digno, en el aquí y el ahora de sus existencias sociales. Construyen sus trayectorias sexuales y reproductivas -cursos de vida de madres adolescentes- en situaciones de vulnerabilidad. Así, le otorgan diferentes significados al embarazo en las coordenadas de la precariedad. A su vez, los embarazos tempranos se sitúan en los hogares económica, social y culturalmente, más desfavorecidos, cuyo antecedente importante, es el abandono escolar. Aunado a lo anterior, se dan prácticas sociales de ciertos jóvenes, hombres y mujeres, en los márgenes, en los bordes y en los límites, que configuran una suerte de «identidades clandestinas», como usuarios de drogas ilegales -marihuana, cocaína-, que favorece su estigmatizados y dificulta el ejercicio de sus derechos a la salud, al trabajo y al acceso a la escuela. «Identidades desacreditadas», que cargan con el imaginario colectivo de ser «delincuentes».
