Simple signature, obtained - according to a pencil note on the front end paper - '1972 signed by RL at Essex University'. First Edition, 1951. Bound in black cloth, green and lime yellow dustwrapper. Lowell's third book, following Lord Weary's Castle and Land Of Unlikeness. This copy is not price clipped but the jacket, which is now protected, is well used. The black binding is firm, and the text block is tanned, like most copies I'm afraid, because of the poor quality paper. Rare signature.
