Paperback. Zustand: Poor. In a bit of a sorry state, old damp damage has marked the pages and damaged the inside of the card covers, and staple rusting, but still a sound, readable booklet; cover has foxing and marking, a previous owner's initials, and 'by Edgar A Rees' written on it.

Dark Blue cloth cover with gilt lettering to spine. 124 Pages, 8 3/4" Tall. 3 light marks to front cover (see photo). Gift inscription dated 1969 on ffep. No inscriptions on text, pages in very good, clean condition. Size: 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" Tall.

Hardcover. Zustand: Very Good. Zustand des Schutzumschlags: Good. 658pg tome offering a history of communism, with dozens of contributors from a variety of world perspectives and time periods. An excellent overall copy. Binding is solid, square, sturdy, tight. Boards are clean and firm, slight bump to the bottom corner of the back board but no other wear of note. Interior is bright and clean and free of marks except for a small, neat, gift inscription on the front free endpaper, which also has a couple of fingerprint smudges. Else interior perfect and appears unread, which makes sense since its from the collection of an eminent marxist scholar who received this as a gift but had probably studied it all quite directly over the years. Dustjacket is mostly clean and attractive, with some light bumping and wear around the edges and with one significant horizontal scratch to the back panel. DJ now in brodart.
