[20-XWAX] The book, according to the dj blurb, tells the story of the Dreamer Prophet Smowhala, of Washington Territory, who inhabited a region along the Columbia River now called Priest Rapids. At the time Relander wrote this book, there were only five surviving Wanapums who had held on to the Dreamer's teachings. One of those, a descendant who was trained by the Prophet, began to disclose the teachings to ensure that the Wanapums would not be a forgotten people.…
