A Second Illustrated Title Page before the "Poetical Books, starting with the Book of Job, is Illustrated with Our Lord in the Garden of Gethsemane. Commentary by Rev. Jamieson and Rev. E. H. Bickersteth. Frontispiece opposite has a lovely Illustration of the Madonna and Child. Small closed tear in lower margin. The New Testament begins with a Printed Title Page stating that the Commentary is by Rev. Edward Henry Bickersteth. Frontispiece Illustrated with The Three Magi following the Star. Text is arranged in Double Columns with References in narrow inner margins. Copious Footnotes. 14 3/4" Tall. Text ends at Revelation XXI. Pages a little age darkened.
