This history of the Holy House of Loreto is the most decisive work in English defending the authenticity of this most hallowed shrine in all Christendom. Our Lady's Holy House at Nazareth was taken by angels to Dalmatia (Croatia) in 1291 to prevent its desecration by the infidels. Three years later it took flight again to rest in Loreto, Italy, where it remains. Rev. Phillips provides the facts, and excitement behind the story. Many cures, apparitions, and miraculous conversions, have happened within the limestone walls of the Santa Casa. Number of Pages: 151. book.

However, aside from the library markings, the book has no significant flaws, but shows only quite brief, occasional, minor signs of use or age (a bit of wear and tear to cloth at the top of the spine, a touch of wear at the corner tips, pages faintly age-toned, and it does not show up well in our photos, but a bit of fading or discoloration to the cloth binding along the spine and the board edges front and rear). Book is bound in heavy-duty cloth-covered boards with embossed gilt emblem on the front, gilt lettering on the spine, top exterior page edges also gilt (somewhat dulled). All in all, a surprisingly well-preserved copy given its age. The book is quite clean and stain-free, square and straight, still firm and tight in its binding, no pages are loose or missing.
