Heavy book may require extra postage unless posted within South Africa. Name of the previous owner written on the front free end paper page and book plate tipped in on the front inner board by Robert Arthur Laing. First edition, 1857. 1/4 Leather and gilt, with marbles end papers. Small pencil note mentions that the book was rebound the 1905. The boards are a little shelf rubbed. There is foxing on the early and last few pages, with a few minor age related marks (1857). There are a few minor annotations in pencil and blue ink, within the body of the book.
