Edwardes with an introduction by Grace Rhys Volume I (179pp) covers 1790 to 1817; volume II (164pp) 1818 to 1842; and volume III (157pp) 1843 to 1878. Contemporary half-leather binding with marbled boards. The spine has all the title panels and five raised bands and decorations. The boards have some light surface wear and marking with some rubbing and a little fraying to the corners. Gilt page edges are quite bright. The frontispiece and tissue paper from Vol. I is unfortunately detached but the pages are otherwise clean and unmarked. First printing. Heavy item due to the three volumes so there will be an additional postage charge for overseas orders.…
