The Ewell name is prominent in VA, but we haven't tracked down a 19th century George yet. First blank page has the signature of Wm. L Ritter. Bookplate with Ritter name on page opposite, with address on Carrolton Ave in Baltimore. Ritter was orderly Sergeant of the 3rd MD Artillery. Please email with questions or to request photos.
