90 x 110 mm. Nur die Unterschrift. - Beyschlag studierte seit 1856 an der Münchner Akademie als Schüler von Philipp Foltz. Er malte eine große Anzahl Porträts sowie vorwiegend lyrisch gehaltene Bildkompositionen (u.a. Orpheus und Eurydike, Frühlingsgrüße). Für das Bayerische Nationalmuseum in München malte Beyschlag ein großes Historienfresko (Ludwig der Kelheimer unterhandelt 1221 mit dem Sultan Kâmel über den Abzug der Kreuzfahrer).
