"This book is about objects found in dusty corners of barns, basements, attics or garages .or sometimes treasured family heirlooms proudly displayed. What if these objects could speak to us of times gone by and tell us something about the people who owned them? On the following pages some do indeed seem to speak for themselves, while others are given voice through commentary, quotations, and poetry.
