It is a former library book from the General Service Schools at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas and the Command and General Staff College. Bookplates from both libraries are on the front pastedown with the Command and General Staff College plate… being placed on top of the General Service Schools plate. Typical library markings on and in the book. The only place where there is a stamp in the text itself is on page 3. A stamp from the General Service Schools was placed on Table 1. It does partly obscure some of the text, but not enough that it cannot be deciphered. There is heavy wear to spine with about 2" piece of leather covering missing and spine is taped in 3 places. Binding is sound with no loose pages. Interior pages clean, other than stated above. Heavy wear to corners. Introduction states new kind of projectile for field artillery. Includes tables, charts and graphs. Effect of A Group of Shots. Tables include the following information: No. of rounds; Burst Intervals; Mean height of burst; Distribution of burst; Density of hits; and number of hits. images upon request! XX.
