Se trata de un libro de viajes de la visita que realizaron a la China maoísta por María Rosa Oliver, una de las fundadoras de la Revista Sur, junto a Victoria Ocampo, y el notable promotor cultural Norberto Frontini, esposo de la recordada Mony Hermelo, con quien hizo un magnífico homenaje impreso a Federico García Lorca en 1937, en Buenos Aires. SE TRATA DE UN LIBRO MUY ESCASO QUE DATA DE 1955. Carta en las página de fe de erratas dirigida al anterior dueño, posiblemente de María Rosa Oliver.

Edizione originale e unica non datata, ma ascrivibile al 1830 circa (Collino lo data 1830, Clivio 1832), di questo poemetto in ottave in dialetto piemontese in cui l'A. prende di mira con la sua satira i cattivi medici. "Si tratta certamente di un'operetta giovanile, che risente nella forma, nello svolgimento, nel concetto nella strofe scelte, delle 'Follie religiose' di Edoardo Calvo ma che appunto per questa ragione e' notevole, perche' riattacca il Rosa direttamente al miglior classico della nostra poesia dialettale e lo dimostra indipendente, come artista, dal Brofferio, di cui troppe volte lo si e' definito pedissequo imitatore". Nella canzone finale "Sull'aria. Coul bel temp l'e' propri vnu'", il Rosa "trova la forma metrica e strofica piu' adatta, si piega a quel senso di facile musicalita' che rende piacevole la poesia piemontese, ed inizia la sua vera opera di poeta dialettale giocoso, bonariamente satirico in qualche accenno pungente, ma senza fiele. Non esita, ad esempio, a riprendere il motivo calviano della 'Vita d'campagna' e, dopo averne celebrate con grazia leggermente ironica le gioie rusticane, conclude con una sestina sprizzante di irresistibile arguzia, in cui si sente prima l'eco larga del riso di Antonio Guadagnoli, poi, negli ultimi due versi, il sarcasmo acuto e vibrante di Giuseppe Giusti."
