Ristampa dell'ediz. giuntina del 1515, curata e filologicamnte commentata da Niccolò Angeli e basata, con qualche correzione, sull'Aldina dell'anno precedente. Vi si raggruppano tutti gli antichi autori di opere concernenti i lavori agricoli e tutto quanto ha attinenza con essi e con i prodotti della campagna, include quindi anche la gastronomia, l'enologia, la meteorologia, la misurazione del tempo, ecc. Gli ultimi ff. preliminari recano una dedica di Aldo Manuzio al lettore contenente una lunga e puntuale spiegazione della divisione dei giorni e delle ore secondo quanto scrive Rutilio Palladio nella sua opera ("De duobus dierum generibus, simulque de umbris et oris, quae apud Palladium").
