Unpaginated -- about 50 pages with b&w photos of and from the exhibition throughout with carpenter's tools, wooden joint illustrations, ribs of a ship, then catalogue of exhibits (41) with notes from each and measurements of art chairs and production chairs of the Thonet firm: chairs, revolving stools, rocking chairs, etc. A study of the Thonet bentwood chair as a design object, examining the industrial processes of steam bending and mass production that made it one of the most widely produced chairs in history, published in conjunction with a Carpenter Center exhibition at Harvard.
