Original Blue Cloth Hardback. Zustand: Very Good. Presumed First Edition. 1888. Presumed 256pp. plus a 16 page publisher's catalogue. The author of this biography was Jane Sarson Cooper Ingham (1844-1906), an Anglo-Canadian writer who is probably best remembered today as the author of 'Wild Flowers, or, Poems'. In this volume she provides a sketch of the spiritual life of her friend Elizabeth Maw (1798-1886). The contents are tight and clean although some of the pages have pencil underlining and/or pencil marks on the fore margin. There is a small water stain on the front endpapers around the top of the spine and a larger stain around the top of the spine and corners of the rear endpapers. …
