Hardcover. Zustand: Fine. First edition. Octavo. 296pp. Fine in maroon cloth gilt, without jacket as issued. With a nice gift inscription to literary agent Timothy Seldes on the front fly: "For Timothy in memory of Gilbert [Seldes] Yours in the faith. [signature illegible] Santa Monica May 31, 1993." (N.B. Worthingotn Miner had passed by this time and the signature is not interviewer Franklin J. Schaffner's.) A handful of short highlighted passages and a few penciled notes in the book, either by Timothy Seldes or his sister, Tony Award-winning actress Marian Seldes, from whose library this came.
