Thomas Moore, (1779-1852), was an Irish poet, singer, songwriter and entertainer, born in Dublin. He is best remembered for the lyrics of 'The Minstrel Boy' and 'The Last Rose Of Summer'. Originally published in 1929 in a limited edition of 130 copies this is a facsimile printing of that edition. Tiny loss to head of d/w spine; d/w has a short edge tear (13mm); else a near fine copy, in a very good plus d/w, of the SCARCE facsimile edition. NO inscriptions, underlining or highlighting.
