Book 1: "The Merchant of Venice and Other Stories,'' also contains "Timon of Athens" & "The Comedy of Errors,'' in 64 pages + other titles by this publisher in rear. Book 2: "Cymbeline," also includes "All's Well that Ends Well" & "Much Ado about Nothing,'' in 64 pages + ads. Book 3: "A Midsummer's Night Dream" also contains "Hamlet, Prince of Denmark,'' "Twelfth Night,'' & "King Lear," in 64 pages + ads. Book #2 has a lovely full color frontispiece. All books contain numerous pen-and-ink sketches, many full page. Condition overall is VG: exceptionally clean & bright, stitched bindings strong & straight, pages creamy white & unmarked save for child's name in 2 books to ffep. Modest rubbing to extremities, slight bumping to all corners/both ends of spine. "Midsummer" shows heavier rubbing to spine, "Cymbeline" has some paper residue stuck to rear board along fore edge side. A lovely little set & a wonderful introduction to the Bard for young readers!
