With the bookplate of the late Christopher Brinson, a collector of books on magic, researcher and author of works on magic (Arcady Press). The bookplate shows a sphinx with pyramids in the background and conjuring tools in the foreground including a magic wand. Some creasing at spine with slight chipping at spine ends and faint surface marking, otherwise sound, near very good with clean text and plates.

Original Boards. Zustand: Very Good. First Edition. In the distinctive Pearson yellow printed boards. Includes tricks with monkeys, when available.

Free endpapers and pastedowns evenly discoloured and bearing some foxing. Binding alittle loose.
