Small juvenile booklet (4" x 3"), original printed wrappers with woodcut illustration on top cover, woodcut border on wrappers, 16 pp. Covers a bit faded and stained a little, also a little worn, internally a little foxed and soiled, but in very good shape for such a fragile item. Although there appear to have been s…everal editions published between 1820 and 1840 of this juvenile work, the OCLC seems to find only a few of each one. Written as a poem, the story recounts the sinking of a ship and the ill treatment of those on board. Includes three woodcuts in the first couple of pages. OCLC.
