She penned a series of enchanting family tales which still have a resonance today and of which âÂÂOrders to Poachâ is the first an…d most elusive. This copy has a slight lean to the text block and mild bumping to the top and bottom of the spine, but is otherwise clean and free of inscriptions and (most unusually for a book from 1942) not printed on war-economy paper.
