Three amateur but effective early repairs at the spine, front fly near detached, rubbed, else very good. Calligraphic illustration of a dove incorporating George W. Singiser's name, although most of the leaves are unused, approximately 35 pages have been signed with sentiments, home locations, or other information, all, seemingly part of the Class of 1871 of the Penn State Normal School (now Millersville University) a teachers' college. Perhaps a bit more than half of the signers are woman. Most of the signers are from the middle part of Pennsylvania.
