The letter concerns an application for William Langley as sought by the Grand Jury of Berkshire, in place of the death sentence. Monmouth 15th March 1795. Sir Thomas Plumer 1753 - 1824 was a British judge and politician, the first Vice-Chancellor of England and later Master of the Rolls. Size is 78mm x 65mm. In good condition. Ref 19048.
