Hardcover. Zustand: Good. First Thus. Fair plus ONLY copy of the first printing of the hardbound Tannen edition with the pictorial label on front board. We grade this copy only fair plus because there is fraying to cloth at spine ends and corners. The pictorial label has a little rubbing. Not issued in a printed jacket. No prior owner markings. Originally issued as individual lessons at premium prices in the mid to late 1940s, then in 1961 re-issued as a bound book by Louis Tannen. This edition has high production values (for example, coated paper stock and good photographic reproduction.) One of the most influential and inspirational collections of magic effects assembled in the 20th century. Many now classic effects appear here in their original form for the first time: Cutting the Aces, Spellbound, Flight of the Paper Balls, etc.…

Hardcover. Zustand: Very Good. Zustand des Schutzumschlags: Very Good. Revised Edition. Very good in very good dust jacket. No jacket tears or chips. The book itself is slightly "sprung", the result of having been poorly stored for a period of time. If you sit a pile of books on it for a month, the problem will likely resolve itself.
