The last three volumes under the co-editorship of Falconer were published without dust jackets. Finding a truly complete set is uncommon. All 9 volumes are in NEAR FINE condition in Near Fine dust jackets (where required). The book themselves show just marginal shelf rubbing of the extremities, otherwise are Fine/As New. The dust jackets show the occasional hint of shelf rubbing along the edges, are all price-clipped, otherwise remain Fine/As New. This is the member publication 165 of the Roxburghe Club. The edition was proposed by the Marquess of Crewe. On the first fly leaf is an autograph ex-dono by the marquess, also a tipped-in printed ex-libris of the receiver on the first paste down. Ex library copy with a faint circular stamp on the title page. Binding with some slight scratches and wear at the extremeties. Still a good/fine copy, with a spotless interior.
