Violence, sex abuse and gender discrimination are additional factors that hamper mental physical, emotional and social health of the woman. A community and hospital based cross sectional study was carried out in Jalandhar city, Punjab, India among 200 married women. To ascertain the degree of support provided by husbands for management of their wives¿ health problems in urban area of Jalandhar. Punjab. 76 pp. Englisch.
