Based on foliage drying grade, aphid population, plant morphological characters and yield contributing characters it is observed that the safflower genotype entries having more spines, green, thin and waxy leaves, thin capitula, small sized seeds sheltered less aphid population than genotype entries of non-spiny, erect plant type, leathery leaves with succulent stems. Considering the all plant morphological characters more spiny genotypes viz., SSF-682, SSF-695, SSF-714, SSF-704, SSF-734 were observed resistance against safflower aphid compared to national check A-1. 68 pp. Englisch.

Basándose en el grado de secado del follaje, la población de áfidos, los caracteres morfológicos de la planta y los caracteres que contribuyen al rendimiento, se observa que las entradas de genotipos de cártamo que tienen más espinas, hojas verdes, finas y cerosas, capítulos finos, semillas de tamaño pequeño albergaron menos población de áfidos que las entradas de genotipos de plantas no espinosas, erectas, hojas coriáceas con tallos suculentos. Teniendo en cuenta todos los caracteres morfológicos de la planta, se observó que los genotipos más espinosos, a saber, SSF-682, SSF-695, SSF-714, SSF-704 y SSF-734, eran resistentes al pulgón del cártamo en comparación con el control nacional A-1. 64 pp. Spanisch.

This item is printed on demand - it takes 3-4 days longer - Neuware -L'étude intitulée 'Études sur la résistance des plantes hôtes contre le puceron du carthame (Uroleucon compositae Theobald) a été menée au Département d'entomologie agricole, VNMKV, Parbhani, pendant le rabi 2021-22.L'étude de l'incid…ence saisonnière a révélé que la première incidence d'Uroleucon compositae (Theobald) a été observée pendant la 51e semaine météorologique standard (5 pucerons/5cm de rameau apical/plante).La population de pucerons a augmenté progressivement et a atteint un pic de 234 pucerons/5cm de rameau apical/plante au cours de la 5ème semaine météorologique standard. Dans les études de criblage, 15 génotypes de carthame ont été criblés contre le puceron du carthame dans des conditions de terrain. Sur la base du degré de séchage du feuillage, de la population de pucerons, des caractères morphologiques des plantes et des caractères contribuant au rendement, il a été observé que les génotypes de carthame ayant plus d'épines, des feuilles vertes, minces et cireuses, des capitules minces, des graines de petite taille abritaient moins de population de pucerons que les génotypes de plantes non épineuses, érigées, avec des feuilles coriaces et des tiges succulentes. En tenant compte de tous les caractères morphologiques des plantes, on a observé que les génotypes les plus épineux (SSF-682, SSF-695, SSF-714, SSF-704, SSF-734) étaient résistants au puceron du carthame par rapport au contrôle national A-1. 68 pp. Französisch.

Based on foliage drying grade, aphid population, plant morphological characters and yield contributing characters it is observed that the safflower genotype entries having more spines, green, thin and waxy leaves, thin capitula, small sized seeds sheltered less aphid population than genotype entries of non-spiny, erect plant type, leathery leaves with succulent stems. Considering the all plant morphological characters more spiny genotypes viz., SSF-682, SSF-695, SSF-714, SSF-704, SSF-734 were observed resistance against safflower aphid compared to national check A-1.
