Hardcover. Zustand: Good. Theo Rombach / Heinz M. Springmann: Der Regenturm von Friedensreich Hundertwasser. Ein Wohn- und Geschäftshaus in Plochingen. Herba-Verlag, Plochingen 1994. Gebunden, 72 Seiten mit zahlreichen Abbildungen; ordentlicher Zustand. Hundertwasser, Friedensreich (illustrator).

Hardcover. Zustand: Near Fine. No Jacket. 1st Edition. This richly illustrated architectural monograph documents Der Regenturm (The Rain Tower), Friedensreich Hundertwasser's iconic residential and commercial building in Plochingen, Germany, completed in the early 1990s. Conceived as a manifesto in built form, the project embodies Hundertwasser's philosophy of organic architecture - rejecting straight lines, celebrating irregularity, and reintegrating nature through planted terraces, vibrant ceramics, and gold-topped architectural elements. The volume presents the building as both a functional living space and a sculptural, ecological statement. Authored by Dr. Theo Rombach, journalist and cultural writer, and Heinz M. Springmann, the architect and project manager responsible for realizing the Regenturm, the book combines architectural documentation with contextual commentary. It includes extensive color photography, plans, elevations, and detailed views of façades, windows, columns, and interior courtyards. An English-language translation section is laid in, making the core conceptual material accessible to non-German readers while preserving the original German text. Published by Herba-Druck + Verlag GmbH in 1994, this volume represents one of the most substantial single-building studies of Hundertwasser's late architectural period. It is especially sought after by collectors of Hundertwasser material, postmodern and ecological architecture, and late-20th-century European design, as well as by architects and scholars interested in artist-led building practice. Clean, bright pages with no markings or annotations. Spine tight and square; binding feels unread. Covers crisp with only the faintest evidence of handling. Rear endpaper shows minor creasing (see photo.) No tears.…
