Paperback. Zustand: New. Print on Demand. This book is the autobiography of George Summers, a gifted poet born in the 1800s. Set against the backdrop of rapid societal change in North America, the author chronicles his journey as a poet from childhood to adulthood, exploring the complexities of art and inspiration. The author was lauded in his early years, compared to literary greats, and encouraged by influential figures who recognized his talents as a child, only to later lose that support due to the changing literary atmosphere of the time. Despite heart-wrenching setbacks, Summers continued to pursue his passion for poetry, navigating the line between his imaginative world and the realities of life. Ultimately, this story showcases the power of the human spirit against all odds and reminds us of the ways we can find solace and meaning in art.
