Externally, reasonably smart with slight bumping and rubbing, resulting in moderate loss of cloth to edges and cracking to front and rear joints. A few marks to boards, the most prominent being to the front boards of Volumes I and II. Internally, hinges generally a little weak, especially to the rear of Volume I, text otherwise firmly bound. Small tide mark affecting the frontispiece of Volume I. Noticeable discolouration and light sporadic spotting throughout. Good. book.
