Two vintage studio still photographs taken on the set of the 1974 film, one showing director Richard Rush and actor James Caan, the other showing Caan with motorcycle stunt instructor Mike Bast. A blueprint for the buddy cop movie, about two inept police officers, portrayed with wonderful chemistry by Alan Arkin and James Caan, who wreak utter mayhem and destruction while trying to bring down a local mob boss. Director Richard Rush's ludicrous, politically incorrect black comedy, satirizing the popular revenge and police action films of the period. Set and shot on location in San Francisco, California. 7.5 x 10 inches.

Revised Final script for the 1979 television movie, originally aired on October 10, 1979, on NBC. Copy belonging to actor Lee Meriwether, with her annotations in manuscript ink throughout, indicating dialogue. She also made significant appearances in nearly 200 television series, notably "Dr. Kildare" (1965), "The Time Tunnel" (1967), "Star Trek" (1969), and "Mission: Impossible" (1970). She also appeared in nearly three dozen feature films, including "Angel in My Pocket" (1969) and "The Undefeated" (1969). The two-time Emmy Award-winning actress is remembered as Major Margaret "Hot Lips" Houlihan from the series "M*A*S*H" (1972-83) -- her and Alan Alda the only cast members appearing in the entire run from pilot episode through finale. Exceptionally large signature in red fineline on a heavy stock 5" X 3" card, dated by her 28 December 1975 at upper right and also bearing a pink rubberstamped lip print placed there by her. Fine. With original transmittal envelope bearing the same rubberstamped lip print on verso. Accompanied by a superb heavy stock glossy 10" X 8" color photograph, a "M*A*S*H" closeup of a smiling "Hot Lips" in civilian garb with Army housing in background. The earliest dated Swit signature we've seen, dated from "M*A*S*H"s early years and with lip print rubberstamp she apparently only used briefly.
