Particularly known for his veiled dramatic monologues, Robert Browning captured the imaginations of many including Turnbull who embarks on retelling Browning's poems for children to enjoy. Following an overview of his life, retellings includePan and Luna, Colombe's Birthday, and My Last Duchess among many others, beautifully complimented by Barnham's illustrations.
