Zustand: new. Pages: 335 Language: Swedish. Efter vinterkriget blev drygt 400 000 finländare evakuerade och omplacerade inom landets nya gränser. Det krävde radikala åtgärder av staten och en beredskap för stora uppoffringar av befolkningen. Fredsvillkoren efter fortsättningskriget innebar en upprepning av situationen. Omplaceringen av de evakuerade skapade också spänningar som färgades av politiska ideologier, krigstida rädslor och framtidsvisioner. Ett utlopp för dessa spänningar blev språkfrågan. Den svenskspråkiga pressen skrev alarmistiskt om en finskspråkig "invasion" som hotade språkminoritetens kultur.
