In den WarenkorbANS, one page, 12mo, good condition, saying "I am asked by Sir James Barrie to thanmk you very much for a nice letter and an interesting article. | Yours daithfully | C. Greene | (For Sir James Barrie)". Accompanied by: a. newspaper clipping about "Barrie Handwriting Contrasts" - Barrie's change from right to left (because the r…ight 'gave out') illustrated and discussed; b. a small clipping entitled "Sir James Barrie's Last Autograph", with detail and illustration; c. Typed Statement concerning "The Mysterious C. Greene" on notepaper headed "Cambridge Daily News (1929) Ltd [.] Cambridge [May 1941] [date written rest printed], one page, 4to, closed tear but mainly good condition. With a few pencilled corrections presumably in Stuart's hand, and perhaps intended for publication in the newspaper. He describes the circumstances under which Barrie employed her (to sort out his 'appalling muddle" ("He hated the idea of professional efficiency"), and the terms (relaxed), and reveals Barrie's suggestion that "for secretarial purposes she must use an imaginary name". The information is presumably derived for Mackail's "The Story of J.M.B.".
