Para tan noble fin decidieron escudarse tras la figura de un imaginario agente teatral sin escrúpulos, poco fiable y no menos fanfarrón que atendería al nombre de Monty Python. Y «se armó la gorda». Monty Python?s Flying Circus, desopilante serie zurcida a base de ingeniosas recreaciones, bullas inconexas, delirantes barbaridades y toda suerte de inanidades y animaciones preinfográficas, deformó, trituró y reescribió las reglas de la comedia televisiva británica, ahí es nada; y aún hoy en día, cuatrocientos años más tarde (bueno, poco menos de cincuenta, en realidad), sigue hablándose de semejante disturbio cómico en el universo mundo.
