Pages 258-303 feature a facsimile of Jack Thorp's 1908 edition with the book's extensive text being general commentary and music for each song with sources for individual bibliographies, texts of variations, recording and manuscript lists, a cowboy word and phrase lexicon, etc.…

A few pages have light soiling. Several cracks in the spine throughout the book. A few of the cracks expose the netting. Pages still appear to be secure.
