Full vellum with overlapping fore-edges, smooth spine divided into six panels by gilt double rules, first panel with author's name in gilt, remaining panels with central tudor rose in gilt, covers with gilt double fillet border and central coat of arms. Slightly rubbed, vellum very slightly grubby, internally lightly browned, but generally clean. Engraved title page.
