The basketball coach wants him to do the same thing for his team. Bill, John's best friend and next-door neighbor, encourages him to talk to the head wrestling coach, Mr. Smith. The coach talks to John and weighs him. John finally hears what he has been waiting to hear- I want you to start practicing immediately.
