"Don Tobin" in black ink at the top of the panel; is possibly a printed signature because there is a purple stamp on the back that says, "Engraved by CP, Sep 19, 1969." Original black ink on white paper with white pigment for original corrections and editing. Caption handwritten in pencil. Original sticker on the side of the panel says, "[Copyright] King Features Syndicate, Inc., 1969. World rights reserved." While most of the panel is engraved, there are small hand-drawn portions in black and white pigment for original corrections and editing. October 16, 1983. 8 1/4" x 10 3/8." Art is very clean and intact with minimal age wear. This is a single-panel comic. The panel shows the iconic husband and wife, Herbert and Emily Butterworth, who star in The Little Woman. Herbert examines the engine while Emily stands by and says, "The man at the gas station said we needed a battery, but I told him we already had one." Tobin often used the "ditzy" nature of Emily and car troubles as comedic devices in The Little Woman.
